The Web Becomes 2.0

• 4/29/10:  Figure  1-11 (“Web as a Platform”) continues to evolve.  Add HTML-5 under technologies here, or in chapter 2; discuss the battle between Flash and H.264  as open standards for video.
• I  like using the Way Back Machine to show students what the Web looked like in its early days. One of my favorite examples is to show the White House web site back in2001, and what it looks like today.
