{"id":635,"date":"2012-10-17T20:24:36","date_gmt":"2012-10-18T00:24:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cis.bentley.edu\/mfrydenberg\/?p=635"},"modified":"2012-10-17T20:25:29","modified_gmt":"2012-10-18T00:25:29","slug":"where-the-skies-are-cloudy-all-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cis.bentley.edu\/mfrydenberg\/index.php\/2012\/10\/17\/where-the-skies-are-cloudy-all-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Where the Skies are Cloudy All Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today \u00a0I was the keynote speaker at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbea.biz\/\" target=\"_blank\">Connecticut Business Association&#8217;s<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbea.biz\/uploads\/3\/8\/1\/3\/3813731\/cbea_flyer_2012_2.pdf\" title=\"CBEA Conference\" target=\"_blank\">109th Annual Conference<\/a>. \u00a0Who knew this organization is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Category:Companies_established_in_1903\" title=\"Companies Started in 1903\" target=\"_blank\">as old as the Jolly Green Giant and Pepsi<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>I spoke on cloud computing &#8211; as a collection of services (software, infrastructure, data, and platform), and the types of applications they enable.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/r.office.microsoft.com\/r\/rlidPowerPointEmbed?p1=1&#038;p2=1&#038;p3=SD852832AD8CCD8031!9169&#038;p4=&#038;ak=!ABCRWtDK96MH5sE&#038;kip=1\" width=\"402\" height=\"327\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>My second presentation focused on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knewton.com\/flipped-classroom\/\" title=\"Flipped Classroom\" target=\"_blank\">Flipped Classroom<\/a>.
