Use the Student Version of Visible Systems Workbench to create the attached data flow model of a video rental system. Submit

(a) a neatly printed copy of your video rental data flow diagram

(b) your analysis of potential flaws (i.e., Dfd rules are violated)

Grading Process:

(1) You will receive a grade of 100% if

• provide useful information about you difficulty

(2) You will receive a grade of 95% if

• you submit the assignment on the due date
• create a model that is close to the hand-out
• use reasonable font for text
• use reasonable size for the Dfd block symbols
• you discover and document some of the potential flaws
• document your difficulty

(3) You will receive a grade of 90% if

• you submit the assignment one week late
• create a model that mirrors the hand-out (i.e., follow the directions)
• use appropriate font for text
• use appropriate size for the Dfd block symbols
• you discover and document the potential flaws
• provide useful information about you difficulty

(4) You will receive a grade of 85% if

• you submit the assignment two weeks late
• create a model that mirrors the hand-out (i.e., follow the directions)
• use appropriate font for text
• use appropriate size for the Dfd block symbols
• you discover and document the potential flaws
• provide useful information about you difficulty

(5) You will receive a grade of zero if you fail to submit your work within two weeks of the due date.

(6) You can re-submit your work if your first submission is on time and your grade is less than 85%.
