CIS Sandbox Open House!

Please join us for our second annual Open House in the CIS Sandbox (Smith 234) on Thursday, November 29, from 3:30 pm until 5 pm. We’ll give away CIS Sandbox flash drives to lucky visitors!

If you are interested in information technology, looking for cool things to do on this Thursday, and/or thinking about studying CIS as your major or minor, we highly recommend you to come and talk to us! You can see projects and ideas CIS Students and CIS Sandbox assistants are working on, inside and outside the classroom, including

  • An iOS navigation app for Lake Zoar
  • Tools for Analyzing Big Data
  • A Queuing Application for the CIS Sandbox
  • Android Development Project
  • Demo of Microsoft Kinect technology
  • Instructional Videos created by CIS Sandbox staff for IT101
  • Windows 8 and a preview of Office 2013
  • Career Information programs held in the CIS Sandbox.
